Demetri Martin is a comic contributor on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he presents his “Trendspotting” pieces. He’s also going to co-star in three films that he’s writing, one for Dreamworks, one for Sony/Jimmy Miller, and one for Thousand Words/Ed Saxon.

Demetri Martin has released several comedy CDs, including “THESE ARE JOKES”, and has performed several comedy special series called, Important Things with Demetri Martin on Comedy Central.

Demetri Martin is also a musician and his comedy is often accompanied by his music on his guitar, harmonica, piano, keyboard, glockenspiel, toy bells, ukulele, or tambourine. Demetri has said comedian Steven Wright is an important influence on his comic style (both use deadpan one-liners in their acts) and Martin is also a fan of Bill Cosby.
